A label backed by an approved laboratory
An approved laboratory
By Order No. 000350/A/MINMIDT/SG/DAJ/DDQ of 17 August 2026, the Ministry of Mines, Industry and Technological Development approved the CTA-CAM laboratory as a conformity assessment body.
A mark provided for by the Order
Article 2 of the Order authorizes the laboratory to use and promote the CTA logo and trademark in the agri-food industries. The CTA-CAM Label puts this into practice.
Cameroonian products promoted
The label lends the standing of an approved laboratory to products processed in Cameroon, in front of distributors, buyers and consumers.
What our label brings to your products
A label that helps sell your products
CTA-CAM does more than issue the label: it carries the CTA-CAM brand and promotes labelled products to give them real commercial visibility.
- The market: a recognizable mark on your packaging that sets your products apart on the shelf
- Trade: promotion to supermarkets, wholesalers, hotels and restaurants, to help get your products listed
- Quality: conformity assessed on 224 checkpoints by CTA-CAM experts, and products tested by our laboratory
- Monitoring: a yearly check and unannounced checks, which show your buyers that the label is more than a claim
- Consumer trust: a certificate number on the label that links each product to its certificate
- Visibility: showcasing at fairs, trade shows and events, on cta-cam.org and on our social networks
- Export: a structured and credible quality approach, backed by an approved laboratory
Conformity or Excellence
The level awarded depends on the score obtained in the CTA-CAM diagnostic. It appears on the seal applied to your products and on your certificate.
Conformity level
- At least 70% of the overall diagnostic score
- No non-conformity in hygiene (GHP) or manufacturing processes (GMP)
Excellence level
- At least 85% of the overall diagnostic score
- All the conditions of the Conformity level
- A HACCP system assessed at the “Structured” level
How to obtain the CTA-CAM Label
Any legally registered agri-food company, whatever its size, can apply to have one or more of its products made in Cameroon labelled.

Production site diagnostic
Our experts assess your site on a 224-point grid covering 7 areas, including hygiene (GHP), manufacturing processes (GMP) and hazard control (HACCP).
GHP, GMP and HACCP upgrading
If gaps are found, CTA-CAM helps you close them: training your teams, putting good practices and the HACCP approach in place.
Product testing
Your products are tested in CTA-CAM's approved laboratory (physicochemical and microbiological parameters).
Verification and certificate
CTA-CAM checks that the conditions of the target level are met and issues a numbered Certificate of Use, with the seal and its rules of use.
Yearly follow-up
The certificate is valid for one year. It is renewed after a check confirming that the level has been maintained.

Your questions about the label
How much does labelling cost?
Labelling is a CTA-CAM service priced on quotation, depending on the number of products, the size of the site and the upgrading work needed.
How long does it take?
It depends on your company's starting point. Once the diagnostic and testing are done, a decision is made within 30 working days of your complete application.
Does the label replace ANOR certification?
No. The CTA-CAM Label replaces neither ANOR certification nor official health authorizations. It attests to a level of conformity assessed and monitored by CTA-CAM, in addition to your regulatory obligations.
Which products can be labelled?
Any food product made in Cameroon by a legally registered company. Only the products examined during the diagnostic may bear the label.
Where can I find labelled products?
The list of labelled products will be published on this page, with the agreement of the companies concerned, as soon as the first labels are awarded.
